Nakshatra Mukhas
These 27 nakshatras are classified under three groups of nine each as Urdhwamukha, Adhomukha and Triyangmukha.
Each nakshatra has its presiding deity. Some nakshatras are generally forbidden for any auspicious event. They can be identified from the following table.
