In this article we will discuss the major aspects of this conjunction and how it is going to influence the world at large. I will explain now the fundamental difference between a Mars- Saturn conjunction and a Jupiter-Venus conjunction.

Jupiter-Venus conjunction is neutral while a Jupiter-Venus opposition is positively harmful. Mars-Saturn conjunction is bad whereas Mars-Saturn opposition is rather neutral. There is only piece of evidence in textbooks, which does a favourable evaluation of a Mars-Saturn conjunction. Mantreswara in Phaladeepika opines that a Mars-Saturn conjunction in 7th house (in Cancer) gives one a chaste and beautiful wife.
